Sammy is a 3-month-old Labrador Retriever mixed breed puppy (approx 15 lbs). He will grow up to be a medium-large size dog. Sammy was found homeless, wandering the streets of Riberas del Pilar, Mexico. He started following a woman who was walking her dogs, casually assuming he could just join the … pack. He walked with them all the way back to their house! The woman couldn’t help but take him in and she became his foster mama. Sammy was given a nice bath, visited the veterinarian, received his first round of deworming, and his first puppy vaccinations. He will receive the remainder of his deworming & vaccination protocol before adoption. Sammy is a happy, lively, playful little puppy! He is friendly and social with people and he’s great with every dog he meets. He very quickly became part of the pack at his foster home and loves playing with his doggy pals. Sammy is all about chasing balls, chewing on dog toys, and running circles around the yard with the other dogs. He has a typical fun-loving puppy personality. Of course, like all puppies, Sammy needs a family who has time and energy for puppy training to teach Sammy basic obedience and doggy manners. He would do best with a family who will keep him active and socialized. Sammy would be thrilled to have a playful doggy sibling in the home, but this is not a requirement. He is not yet neutered because he’s still too young. If he comes to Canada before being neutered, this will be an adopter responsibility. Sammy is currently in Mexico. There may be an additional $225 transport fee to have the dog transported to Canada due to COVID restrictions. This will be discussed upon approval. Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
