Allow me to introduce the stunning Sage, a remarkable female pit bull mix who is 2.5 years old. Sage is a true adventurer and enjoys going on walks, camping trips, and hiking excursions. She’s also quite the playful pup and loves engaging with her favorite toys. The best part? Sage gets along well … with other dogs, making her a great companion for a male canine who shares her easy-going yet playful nature. To ensure Sage’s comfort, we kindly request that any children in her potential home be at least 15 years old, as she prefers a low-key environment. Rest assured, Sage is both house trained and crate trained. She sees her crate as a safe haven, especially when things get a little too bustling for her liking. Not only does Sage know some commands, but she also loves showcasing her favorite dog toys to new humans she meets. To keep her brilliant mind engaged, Sage enjoys using food puzzles during mealtime. Her trainer believes she’s incredibly intelligent and it’s important that her new family keeps her mentally stimulated. For Sage, the ideal home is one that is active, provides predictability and structure, and showers her with plenty of tender loving care. Sage’s ideal weight is between 45-50 lbs. Currently, she is in foster care in Arvada, Colorado. We kindly ask that all potential adopters make the trip to Colorado, as we do not provide transportation for our dogs.
