Rosie

About Rosie

Rosie is a 3-year-old, 50 lb female blue staffy who was originally adopted from Texas. Her family surrendered her because they aren’t comfortable training her or managing her dog selectivity and anxiety around children. Although she has never been aggressive toward the children in her home, she is unsure of kids outside the home. She’s lived peacefully with other dogs in the past, but has had two instances of aggression toward other dogs that the current owners are aware of. Luckily, no serious vet care was needed in either incident. Rosie is currently undergoing training to help increase her confidence. She has learned the art of loose leash walking as well as the place command, and solidified her basic obedience like “sit, down and come”. Rosie will thrive as the only pet in an adult home. She is loving, loyal and affectionate with her people and will make a wonderful companion for a patient, breed experienced owner. If you are interested in learning more about Rosie, please start with the adoption application or email [email protected] Adoption Info: Rosie’s adoption fee is $250. She is spayed, up to date on core vaccinations, microchipped and in good health. Adoption will include one take-home training session and follow up virtual support. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible, as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization.
