ROO

This young gal is a joy. Roo loves her walks with our volunteer’s leashing up well. She likes all the cool toys in the play yard and chasing after a thrown ball. She is a smart girl who already knows “sit” and is eager to learn more! Roo is a great listener and is in tune with her handler and loves … other dogs. She’d love a family or active owner who will do things with her like hiking, nice walks, or even some training classes to help her learn how to be the best possible dog she can be! Roo currently weighs in at 63lbs. Be sure to fill out an application to be pre-approved to make an appointment. Here’s what our volunteers have to say about Roo: Roo is a pretty, lanky Shepherd mix with a lovely face and endearing wrinkled forehead. She is a little excitable at first but mellows out nicely once outside. She’s a nice leash walker and curious sniffer! An old injury to one of her rear legs affects her gait a bit but doesn’t seem to give her pain. She’s learning not to jump up and is otherwise well-behaved. She likes to romp with squeaky toys and is quite playful! She’s very affectionate and gentle, and loves to be touched.
