ROBIN

About ROBIN

NOTE: Please email us directly with your application. ADULT HOME NEEDED. PLEASE REVIEW HER POST TO SEE IF YOU ARE A MATCH FOR HER. Robin is a beautiful, 18-month-old, spayed Rottweiler with a gorgeous full tail. She is currently in foster care learning about what our big world has to offer. She can be fearful in new situations but once Robin bonds and trusts her person, she will be your best buddy. She is learning to walk on leash but can be rather nervous and skittish around traffic etc. Therefore a home outside the city is preferred. Sadly, Robin did not receive the attention as a younger pup but is making huge progress and loves to learn. Robin needs a quiet but active and understanding owner (preferably female) that have large dog experience. She will need a home where someone is around part of the day or have a dog-walker or daycare to help (she can be destructive if left unattended). Robin is house-trained in her foster home but might need gentle reminders when moved. She is not comfortable around children and requires slow intros when meeting new men and some women. She will chase cats and grab them so absolutely NO cats can live with Robin. Robin’s needs in a nutshell. Previous large dog experience is a must. He needs an adult home with no kids, cats or live stock or detached “rural” home with tall, secure fence. The home should be located within the Vancouver Lower Mainland. And She requires someone home part of the day or works from home. All training must be R+ methods. Another friendly, social dog would help Robin and gives her confidence.
