Prince is a 7-month-old purebred Shih Tzu puppy who is adorable! His Oscar the Grouch face will be groomed tomorrow and he’ll be much more suave and debonair then. He weighs 9.6 lbs and he’s a bundle of sweetness. We did have to shave the puppies down to get rid of some mats so now their coats will … look good as new growing out. These puppies are a clean slate for you to love and train to your household rules. We always recommend obedience training with a new dog as it establishes a bond between you and makes you his leader. Prince should be easily trained to sleep in a crate at night if you so wish. We also using recommend belly bands to aid you in housetraining. You’ll be so glad you did! Shih Tzus are hypoallergenic and low to no shedding for those who have allergies. Please allow 1-2 weeks to finish processing your application, but please know our volunteers are working hard on it. Please note that we do not hold our dogs when someone applies for it. Prince’s adoption fee is $800 and is tax deductible. NOTE: You must complete and submit an application and be approved to adopt prior to being able to meet our dogs. Be prepared to travel to Tulsa, OK, or Oklahoma City, OK, or the location where this dog is fostered to pick up your dog in person if your application is approved. Once you are approved, you may adopt any of our dogs that is a good fit. We are a non-profit organization that spends our adoption fees and donations on vaccinations, surgeries, various medical tests, medicines, food and supplies needed by our dogs. Our fees do not cover the overall expenses incurred by the care of our dogs, but they do help defray the costs involved. We thank you for your support. We always try to select the right applicant for each dog, based on the dog’s needs and try to find the best match for both dog and human. We leave a dog’s profile online until either it has been adopted, has received several applications, or is not able to be adopted for some reason.
