You will need to meet at the Peace Arch Park at the US/Canada border to transfer your pup. Please note we have transports arriving every 1-2 weeks and will have this pet on the next available one. Phantom is a 2-year-old neutered male Australian cattle dog mix, weighing 57 lbs. He is in a foster … home in Texas and can transport to the PNW with an approved adopter. Phantom does really well with other dogs. He is more on the high energy side and would love another dog to match his energy. He loves to run around the backyard with one of his four legged foster brothers for 30-40 minutes. He would do best with an active family who can keep him both mentally and physically moving. He would also benefit from some additional leash training. He spends a lot of time in the backyard and not a lot of time on leash. He tends to pull and could use a little help working on this. Phantom has spent time around older kids and has done great. Due to his energy and excitement he could unintentionally knock over a smaller child. We recommend a home with kids 10 years and older. He is left unsupervised in the house. He will whine/cry at first but then calms down. He does not like the kennel. He is housebroken. He does not have any food aggression, but will try to eat his foster brother’s food if he finishes before them! He also likes to steal their toys. Overall Phantom is a very sweet pup who is looking for a family to give him all the attention and love. He is a giant cuddler! We have no history with cats. We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog’s exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. The first step in our process is filling out an application. We will review your application as soon as we are able – there are two of us and we do the best that we can. We review applications on a “first come, first serve” basis and look for the best fit/match for the dog and applicant. Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
