Hi, my name is Mya! Here is what would work best for me in my new home: -Personality: Intelligent, independent, active and mischievous. -Can Live with Kids: Dog savvy kids 12 and older who can understand her body language. -Can Live with Cats: Unknown history, Mya may have a high prey drive, so … confident cats who won’t run only. She will need a slow, supervised introduction. -Can Live with Dogs: Yes, introduction done here at WHS. -Can do Apartment Living: No, Mya has been reportedly destructive when left alone in the home and will need a large house, ideally with a fenced yard and would benefit from crate training. -Potty Trained: Appears to be! -Bite History: None. -Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes, one private lesson. -Energy Level: High. -Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a spay. -Additional Information: Mya is a very smart, sweet, active gal who can get anxious and bored fairly easily. Mya’s Ideal home would have experience with German shepherds or other intelligent dog breeds who can understand that they need a lot of mental stimulation as well as physical stimulation to keep them from getting into trouble. Mya would so well in a home that can take her for runs or hikes and continue positive reward based training. Mya would love to have a “job” or build up her knowledge in commands. Mya is not the most food motivated dog, so finding something that she will see as a reward will be important for successful training.
