Lulu

Lulu is a 3-year-old poodle mix who came to us from a puppy mill; it doesn’t look like she had many, if any, litters, so our best guess is that the mill got rid of her because she couldn’t produce puppies. We are eager to find her a home where she is seen as a valuable member of the family, not … just a discardable breeding dog! Lulu is super gentle and sweet. She loves other dogs and looks to them for guidance and comfort. Lulu does well with children, too! Due to her history, Lulu gets scared around loud noises, so she would do best in a home without a lot of commotion. She is working on crate training. Adoption fee is $350 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only. STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs. We encourage interested individuals to get approved prior to searching as it helps expedite the process.
