Loki

About Loki

Loki is a Lab Mix, 5 years old and 22 kg. Loki initially had a ton of apps, but his recent diagnosis of epilepsy scared a few peeps away. He is DIBS first epileptic dog and with a few quick visits to the vets. We learned a lot and his foster family quickly realized how easy it is to manage for him (just 2 pills a day – his breakfast pill between 7:30-8am and his dinner pill between 5:30-6pm. Note consistency is key.). His diagnosis by no means defines him but it will be a bit of a commitment for his new families (for his foster family it’s no biggie). What does define him though – is how friendly he is! He is happy to greet anyone he meets with a eager smile, a wagging tail and some wet kisses for the lucky ones. Foster mom is completely smitten with Loki and wants nothing but the best for him. At the top of her wish list, is a family who will be just as dedicated to Loki as Loki is to the humans in his life. Next, he would love to go to a forever home with people that will take him for regular walks a few times a day. Loki is excellent on leash, and loves to get some squirrel watching in. He will be an incredible addition for a family that is looking for a low-key adult dog. Loki is house trained, crate trained, and he sleeps well in his crate overnight. Loki also passed his cat test in Mexico. He loves dogs and would be great with a dog pal in the home, or just humans willing to stay home with him to chill. Loki also requires a fenced in yard to run around in the snow/sun bathe in the summer. His adoption fee is $600.
