About Jerri Lee a Dachshund-Chihuahua-Corgi mix
Jerri Lee is the smallest of a litter of 1.5-year-old boys rescued from a hoarding situation. The boys have a mix of Dachshund, chihuahua, and a bit of Corgi in them. Jerri Lee looks more chi-mini dachshund. Jerri Lee is 7.6 pounds. The boys are a joy to watch play together in the dog yard chasing … one another and their new rescue buddies. I consider Jerri Lee a special needs dog. Jerri is the most fearful of his litter and we are unsure why. He is extremely frightened and has hidden most of the time. The rescue is seeking a very experienced person who also has one or two friendly small breed dogs, that can befriend Jerri and help him. Jerri we have just learned loves female dogs and has really taken to the fosters poodle-(see enclosed video). Jerri Lee needs patience and no expectations. The adopter will need to work with our recommended online trainer to help Jerri. Jerri cannot be cornered as this will forever keep him from adapting. Jerri needs a soft spoken, dog savvy, rescue savvy person to help him transition and understand all is well. Jerri Lee is a gorgeous shiny black coat with orange and white highlights. He is a super cute guy who just needs some time to adjust and decompress in a loving home. Jerri is the shyest of the 5 dogs rescued from hoarding. He will need time, patience, and love. He requires 1-2 small and dog friendly females to bond with. Jerri Lee has been transitioned to a human-grade diet that avoids kibble in place of a healthy canine-specific feeding regimen. We will educate his adopters on proper diet and nutrition for him and his new buddies. To apply to adopt Jasko he has a $550.00 adoption fee. All money will be recycled to cover medical care and rescue more dogs. Please be thorough in your answers and expound whenever possible so we get to know you and can make the best match.
