About Jackie & Pepsi
This is Jackie (white) and Pepsi (black and white)–a sweet pair of miniature schnauzer mix dogs. Jackie is 8 and Pepsi is 9, and they are very bonded to each other, so we are looking for a forever home for them that are happy to adopt both. They need an all-adult home or one with older respectful … kids. Here is what their foster mom says about each: Jackie: Cheerful fun gal. Likes to talk sometimes, makes a lot of funny noises. Can be a bit barky. Walks very well on a leash as well as riding in the car. Highly motivated with food. Likes her mealtimes but you must be quick about putting her out afterwards. Do not delay. Sweet personality but reacts to cats. Good with (my) other dogs. Was fine with the neighbor’s 2 year old son. Loves to be petted. Loves watching T.V. Pepsi: Smart, quick girl. Can get into barking if the others are doing it. Is getting more comfortable being picked up. Loves to ride in the car and walks very well on leash. Likes toys. Loves to be petted. Pepsi is better at potty training after mealtimes and will let you know by going to the door and then back to you. Reacts to cats, ignored neighbor’s 2-year-old son. Good with (my) other dogs. Pepsi likes to be challenged with sit, stay, lay down. (their photos do not do them justice–they were very matted when they came to us so they had to be shaved.) (An adoption fee of $350 is required.) If you have previously submitted an application form, there is no need to re-apply. Just let us know you’re interested in this dog. We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations, before being placed in their forever homes. FOSTER HOMES NEEDED! We are always looking for good foster homes. Our rescue is foster based and we can always save more dogs if we have foster homes for them to go into. It is not a long term commitment. We have been able to find good forever homes in a short time. We also welcome volunteers who can help transport dogs and help with our outreach and fund raising efforts. Please contact us if you can help.
