Hula

About Hula

Looking for the most versatile dog on the planet? Look no further! Hula (Hoobie Girl) is ready for whatever your heart desires! 5-mile hike and camping in the woods? She’s down. A quiet sunset stroll on the beach… yep. Binge watching 3 seasons of Grey’s Anatomy on the couch in 1 weekend? Yep, she also is good to go. Hula is the sweetest 6-year-old girl; you’ll have the pleasure of meeting and a very easy husky. She walks well on a leash; she’s completely potty trained, crate trained, and only makes noise when she hears you pull out the leash. She’s not destructive, as she’s past all that puppy nonsense. She travels great in the car, even on long trips. She gets along great with every dog she’s met; she’s even lived with cats too. Hula ended up in the rescue when her family had a couple of children (one with serious health issues), and she would seclude herself in other rooms, so we feel she’d do best in a home without noisy small children as they caused her some anxiety. In her previous home, Hula would spend lots of time outside, get bored, and escape the yard regularly. In her foster home (without children), she’s not displayed any of these behaviors and loves to be inside and around her people. She’s a couch potato who wants to please, get petted, and cuddle.
