“Hi all, I am a fellow who is both respectful and agreeable, and quite engaging too. This is despite having suffered abuse when I lived in the Middle East. Humans tortured me, which caused some of my teeth to break. My two front ones are broken and one will need to be extracted which LALDR is taking care of. Also one of eardrums has been damaged, but the other is fine. They even burnt some parts of my skin to put out their cigarettes, totally cruel people. Thankfully I am now in a foster home in BC and enjoying life for the first time in my life. Even though I have been through so much, I am still a loving guy. I love hanging out, getting snuggles and taking leisurely walks on the beach. Heck, just being with you, being pet and told how handsome I am is all it takes to make me a very happy boy. I am a bit shy meeting new dogs and may give a soft growl so they understand my nervousness but it doesn’t take me long to learn to trust them and get comfortable. Although I am currently living with other dogs, I have exhibited jealousy in a previous home around another dog. I have had so little affection and kind human attention in my life that I sometimes just want it all to myself. So it is probably best if I am the only dog in my new home. My foster dad says I am a lovely, lovely dog who has so much love to give. I can’t wait to find my person to give it to. I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated & micro-chipped. My adoption fee is $650.00 CAD + applicable taxes.” LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordatella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.
