“Hi, my name is Hazel! I’ll be ready for adoption soon!” Hazel is approximately 1.5 years old, 55lbs, shepherd/retriever mix from Lebanon. She is up to date on vaccinations, micro-chipped, house and crate trained. Miss Hazel is a sweet, smart, fun loving dog who loves to keep busy. She enjoys … exploring trails with her foster brother, sharing the dog beds and wrestling with him in the yard. Hazel and her foster brother share toys well and have had no arguments over food. This sweet girl has been with her foster family since October. Why so long you ask? Well because, Hazel is very scared of new humans. When she feels very scared she tries to assert herself by looking mean and barking. Hazel is working very hard with a trainer on proper behaviours with new humans and guests in the house. Once she gets the all clear from the trainer she will be available for adoption! Hazel will need a loving home that understands her fear and is consistent with her commands and rules. Once her trust is gained, this beautiful girl rewards her loved ones with loyalty and constant snuggles and kisses. Adoption fee is $600.
