About Harley (CYN)
Harley is a lover of people and kids! Her name originated from how revved up her little tail gets at the excitement of being around kids. She is such a happy, loving girl and her tail goes full swing with joy! Harley is estimated at 2 years old, walks pretty well on a leash but will give you a … little workout if a squirrel or cat get near. She is potty trained and doesn’t mind a crate, though not her favorite. She very much enjoys nibbling on big chuky bones or hard toys…and it’s recommended to keep them at hand to help her pass the time. She is a happy camper if she is with her hooman. Harley is indifferent about dogs when out on walks and doesn’t show signs of reactivity but will bark back if a dog is continuously barking at her. She is very easy to redirect with verbal commands. She will do well with submissive dogs… even better with a submissive male and will require a slow introductions. She gets zoomies a couple of times a day, but is happy to couch potato it for the majority of the time. Harley’s little back end was missing so much fur when she first came into the program, but now has a full, shiny coat of beautiful rich black fur, with a gorgeous spotted chest and socks on her paws. She doesn’t mind a car ride but will need help jumping into one. She’s a bit of a sausage roll with smaller legs and still working on her pounce. This girl is ready for her furever home and is looking for someone with some patience and dog experience to help her continue to grow to be the best version of herself. If you’re ready to see that wagging tail in action, please inquire by submitting an application or email [email protected] if you have an application on file. The adoption fee is $475. She is up to date on vaccines according to age, has received proper deworming, and comes with additional dewormer if needed. This pet is microchipped, spayed/neutered, comes with 6 months of Heartworm preventative, and one month free trial of pet insurance if registered by adopter with insurance company. All animals receive a health certificate (stating that a licensed veterinarian saw the pet and deemed it healthy for travel, but is not a promise of perfect health.). Our transports are USDA certified and the cost of transport is included in adoption fee! She may currently be fostered in Houston, Tx but will be traveling to the PNW as soon as she finds her perfect home or may be traveling to a foster in the PNW soon. Please be aware that questions or inquiries will not be answered unless an application is already on file for us to review. We are very proud of our hard work in saving as many animals as we can, giving them what they need, and matching them with the right families. Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
