About FLETCHER – Blue-Eyed Good Luck!

“Hi there! My name is Fletcher. What’s yours? Nice to meet ya! I am in Houston, TX. A nice person came along and took me in. Boy-oh-Boy, it’s a good thing I was rescued because a mean person hit me between my eyes and I had a skull fracture and I was on the street with a bad infected, wound in the Houston heat! I am all better now. I am ready to hit the road to your house! Uh, make that “our” house, OK? I definitely need a house with a fenced-in yard cuz I need room to run and romp and be safe! The rescue requires (1) a fenced-in yard and (2) an excellent, already-established vet history on a current or previous dog. We would call your vet once you have filled out an application. You don’t have to produce vet records beforehand. I am a Husky/Shepherd mix. I am 2.5 years old and I weigh 55 pounds. I have been neutered and am up to date on vaccines so I’m ready to go to my new home with you!! Those funny-looking 2-legged creatures said I’m also microchipped – whatever that is. At any rate, I am fully vetted. Is that anything close to petted? I love to be petted and loved on! Wanna hear some more good stuff about me? OK, here goes. I like all people, adults and children, and other dogs. If you have another medium to large dog, that would be great. But, if you don’t have a doggie sibling for me, that’s quite alright. Also, I am house-trained using a doggie door. Good, huh? If you have human kiddos, they need to be 12 and up because I am a strong and active boy and I might accidentally topple a toddler without meaning to, of course! Will you teach me all the things a young doggie needs to know to be safe and happy? I take treats nicely and I ride nicely in a car. Can I drive, huh, can I? Since I was rescued, I like to take naps when I’m tired from playing. I need love, exercise and couch-sitting when we get tired! Let’s be a team, OK? If you would like to take me home (and you know you do), please email [email protected] and they can get me on my way to a new and loving home! My adoption fee is $450 and includes my transportation, vetting, neutering, and a microchip.” Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
