You haven’t lived your best life unless you meet sweet Ella. She is extremely resilient and happy. She loves toys and her best friend, Ava. She also enjoys the company of other dogs. Precious Ella has not had the best start to her short life. She is missing one back leg. Although it doesn’t slow … her down a bit, she seems to get along perfectly fine. She will open your heart, change your life and give unconditional love. She is just excited to have attention, affection and a kind word. Ella is inspiring and deserves a better chance at life in a forever home! She is a 2-year-old terrier mix. Ella and Ava were abandoned in a back yard together and ended up in a small, rural shelter in Texas facing euthanasia. Please consider adopting a special needs pet. Ella’s life is priceless! Note to adopter: Three-legged dogs can live long, happy and healthy lives with minimal adjustment to their lifestyle and yours! Ella weighs about 40 pounds, is heartworm, tick disease negative and vaccinated. She will be spayed before adoption. She was a doll at her first vet visit. Local Texas adoptions only so we can cat test in your home environment. Local Texas adoption fee: $200. If adopting outside of Texas, project freedom ride adoption fee is $500 (includes transport). Ella is currently located with our rescue in the Texas Panhandle. We are one the partner rescues with Project Freedom Ride and do monthly transports to the PNW and NE. All directly adopted dogs come vaccinated, micro-chipped, spayed/neutered, if 6 months or older require a negative heartworm test, and up to date on flea & tick preventative and heartworm preventative if applicable and a negative fecal.
