Dani was surrendered to the shelter after coming into the shelter as a stray. Dani has a history of running at large so her new owners must be able to keep her properly restrained, either on leash, on a runner or tie out, or in a fenced yard (may jump fences!). Here at the shelter Dani has been … very people friendly with her animal tenders and is one of the tenders’ favorites! Dani has a history of being generally friendly with other dogs, although she can be dog selective and loves to bark when she gets excited, so introductions to new doggy friends should be done in an appropriate fashion. A previous caretaker shared that Dani has been around cats before without issue, but as she is an Alaskan husky, a breed that tends to have a high prey drive, please take extra caution if choosing to introducing her to new feline friends or smaller critters, to make sure she knows they are friends, not food! Dani is looking for an active home that can meet her physical and mental needs and keep her out of trouble! If this sweet girl strikes your fancy please give the shelter a call!
