About Chitter A167626
Here come Chitter, a lovely older lady who exudes beauty and charm! If you’re seeking a more laid-back companion, she’s the perfect match. Chitter enjoys her time outside, happily sniffing and exploring on her own. While she appreciates pets and cuddles, she isn’t overly needy. Currently, she shows … little interest in toys or treats. During walks, she may pull a bit but appears non-reactive to nearby dogs, suggesting she could potentially coexist with a furry sibling after gradual introductions. Her behavior around cats and children is unknown. Please remember that the shelter environment can be quite stressful for dogs. Research indicates that allowing a minimum of three days for decompression significantly helps them relax and reveal their true personalities. A suggested donation of $100 is requested for adoption, payable by cash, check, or PayPal. To meet Chitter, please visit the front door, where a DACC staff member will assist you with the adoption or fostering process. When you come to meet her, bring all family members but leave any current dogs at home, as staff will explain how to introduce them properly after the decompression period. The shelter is open daily from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with adoptions available until 3:00 PM; be sure to arrive before that time to receive assistance.
