About Charlie Gremlin (LJM)
Charlie Gremlin insists on being wherever his foster family is. He takes naptime seriously and does not approve of silly business or shananigans. He is seeking a home where seniors are respected and he is allowed on the couch. Charlie used his charm to convience a shelter he was only 2 years old – … we knew better and had our vet check him out. This little Gremlin is actually about 7 years old and got some dental work done during his nueter. He was treated for heartworms which has left a bit of a cough from time to time. Based on this occasional cough, he was told he can not smoke cigars like the other old dogs on TV. He is fostered with other dogs (small and large) along with cats and kids. Charlie does not want to share his home with another male dog but ladies are fine. If another boy dog is around, Charlie will pee on his stuff. His face and ears are unique leaving us to guess his breed. He is small and just 12 pounds of old man grumpy. Charlie sleeps overnight in a crate with an oversized dog bed. During the day, he has the freedom of taking himself outside by a doggie door which he uses. Somedays, just because he can, he will poop in his favorite spot in the living room. Charlie barks and growls at things he doesn’t like. He appears to be harmless, all bark and no bite. Some days, the cats annouy him and other days it’s the loud teenagers hitting each other. His little paws can be heard following his foster dad so they can hide away for ‘dude’ time or nap watching TV. He is up to date on vaccines according to age, has received proper deworming, and comes with additional dewormer if needed. This pet is microchipped, comes with 6-month Heartworm preventative, and one month free trial of pet insurance if registered by adopter with insurance company. All animals receive a health certificate (stating that a licensed veterinarian saw the pet and deemed it healthy for travel, but is not a promise of perfect health.) Our transports are USDA certified and the cost of transport is included in adoption fee! Adoption fee is $400.00. He is currently being fostered in Houston, Tx but will be traveling to the PNW as soon as he finds her perfect home or may be traveling to a foster in the PNW soon. Canadian Resident / Potential Adopters : Due to Covid, Rescue volunteers can not cross border. Adopters must meet our volunteers in US to pick up pet. We are very proud of our hard work in saving as many animals as we can, giving them what they need, and matching them with the right families.
