Buddha is an adorable male Corgi who is about four and a half years old. He is currently available for adoption through Kenai Peninsula Animal Lovers (KPAL) Rescue! Before considering adding Buddha to your family, please note that KPAL Rescue has a mandatory adoption process in place which includes … a background check and a home visit. Given Buddhas breed, we know he will be very popular. With that being said, he needs a home with no children, he does not like them. He is dog-selective and has not met cats, a home as the only pet is required. He can be possessive of his food. A fence is highly preferred as he is very active. Breed experience is preferred. I you don’t have experience with the breed, please do your research. Now for the great stuff about Buddha! He loves to cuddle and enjoys human attention, but not so needy as he does appreciate his space sometimes. When he does want attention, he’s very lovable and pushy to get loving from his humans. He is fairly well-mannered and walks well on a leash. He is potty-trained and has been allowed to free-roam when left unsupervised, but also does well in a kennel. He is fairly large for a Corgi. Hes going to make a great addition to an adult-only home! KPAL Rescue dogs are fully vetted (vaccinated, microchipped, etc.) and spayed/neutered. There will be an adoption fee of $300 so that we can continue to help other animals in need. As always, donations are also very appreciated. Serious inquires only, please, and feel free to share.
Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered.
