Spectacular Bruno is charming and magical in everything he does. He’s about 7 months old and weighs in at 52 pounds, so we anticipate he’ll be on the bigger side, maybe another 10 pounds. His DOB is set as 09/20/21. We have no idea what his breeds are and we can only presume some sort of Husky / … Chow mix. Bruno joined us from Northern Ontario and is just a super sweet boy, though he is a puppy and a big puppy at that. He has never received formal training, so that is something that will need to happen when he is adopted, so he can be set up for success as an adult dog. He will also need to learn how to properly meet new dogs, as he’s all bark and rudeness right now, and full of puppy energy which many dogs can find off putting. You need to have some dog experience to be the best adopter for Bruno, as he’s not a first time dog owner, kind of dog. It’ll be important to have a grooming budget for Bruno, as he’ll need to see a groomer a few times a year to keep his coat in a good state. With the proper handler, Bruno is going to be an absolute dream companion. He’s already stealing the hearts of everyone he meets. FROM HIS FOSTER: Bruno is a wonderful boy, a beautiful and playful puppy. He is mostly housebroken with only few accidents throughout his stay with us. We do pay a lot of attention to his cues and give yard access frequently. He sleeps through the night in his crate and settles in well with only a few minutes of soft whining. He loves playing with our 2 dogs in the house or in the yard. He also plays well with the cat. Walks are improving every day; he is quite strong and will pull and bark upon seeing other dogs. We are using one leash with a martingale collar and another between his harness and my waist. That seems to give best control. Like any puppy, he still needs to work on manners but he is a really sweet boy; he enjoys scratches, pets and snuggles. To note: the above description is relevant to this dog in his current & previous setting. Home changes & adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim, endorse, suggest or hint at, that any of our dogs are hypoallergenic, low shed or no-shed. Adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, deworming, defleaing, Core vaccines & rabies, dog food, nose-to-tail health exam, toys, collar & leash, food & water dishes, poop bags, go home preventative based on season, and custom engraved dog tag.
