About Bella – LOCAL

Bella was adopted and for some reason did not go to her forever home but instead to the home of a friend of the adopter for about 3-4 weeks. In that time Bella has exhibited behaviours and the adotper has decided to return her. Sadly I belive the behaviours are a direct result of the environment as these behaviours were not present when she was in Mexico OR in foster before being taken to this home. She is reportedly nipping at kid’s feet, but she lived fine with kids in Mexico. Bella does have a “tremor” to one of her front legs which we did not know before she came, and leads me to believe she is a distemper survivor. This does not impact her at all and is mild, no other issues have been found. She is local in the lower mainland. Bella is sweet and beautiful. Due to the reports of feet nipping we would prefer she not go to any homes with young children. As she is being moved again, her adopter must be realistic to the fact that she may be unsettled and will need to trust that she is home and will not be moved again. Bella was found on the Guadalajara streets wandering alone and very tired! She is 2.5 years old and weighs 49 pounds. She is medium sized, spayed, vaccinated, and completely healthy! She lives perfectly with children and with other dogs!
