About BB
BB is in a foster home, and is currently not at the shelter. Please find info below on how to adopt her. “Hello! My friends call me BB, and I know we’ll be friends! Everyone says I’m quite the pretty pittie with my soft pink nose, soulful brown eyes and white tipped tail that I wag with glee! I … love romping around my foster parents’ fenced back yard, playing with toys, and working for treats. Although I’m pretty young (3-4 years old), I’m happy with just moderate exercise, and then I enjoy lounging about the rest of the day. My house manners are stellar – I can be left alone for 8 hours with free rein cause I don’t chew your stuff or get into things I shouldn’t. I always potty outside, and I rarely bark indoors. I’m a such a good girl! My favorite thing in all the world is you! I greet my favorite humans with full-body wags! My foster parents say their favorite things about me are that I’m so gentle and loving. Some things I’ve learned so far are ”sit, down, wait, touch and place (go to a mat or marker on the ground)”. So all that sounds amazing, right? Like I’m the bestest, easiest dog ever. Which I kinda am, but everyone, human or dog, has some quirks, right? For me it’s other dogs…I am reactive to seeing and hearing other dogs. My foster parents have done an amazing job at managing this, and I would thrive with a dedicated family to continue this. Speaking of family, kids aren’t really my thing but young adults and older are okay by me! Because of my dog reactivity I wear a muzzle when out on a walk but, I’ll be honest – walks can be a lot for me. I’d be happiest with a fenced yard to play and relax in…I’m really most content on my home turf. If you’re looking for a mellow companion to chill with around the house and yard, I’m your gal. I will make the most loving companion for somebody who understands me and loves me as I am. I’d rather be a solo pet, but I promise to love you more than a million pets ever could! My foster parents and the shelter’s behaviorist will help set both you and me up for success in my new home. IMPORTANT NOTE: Many of our dogs will receive numerous applications, and the Seattle Animal Shelter asks for your patience during the process of finding the very best match. If you have questions about this dog that have not been answered above, please contact us at [email protected] If you would like to arrange to meet this dog, you must submit an adoption application.
