Baxter

About Baxter

Baxter is a 4-year-old male. He is fawn & white and weighs 65 pounds. He is dog friendly, older kid friendly, crate & leash trained and fostered in Arlington, Wa. “Hello, my name is Baxter and I am patiently awaiting my forever home. My foster mom says that I’m the biggest love bug but can be pushy. I’m working on that my desire to be ‘in front” of everything.’ My forever family can help me get and stay on track by being a good firm leader. I won’t admit it, and will act all bravado, yet secretly I know need guidance sometimes. I know the basic stuff… sit, shake, go to bed and could use reinforcement that yup, that is what I am supposed to do, and consistent reminders to listen. My four legged foster bother and sister are the bestest fun ever, and we run in the yard and play together. I love my 2 legged foster brothers ‘cuz they give the best belly rubs and even cuddle with me at night, and won’t tell everyone how much I like it. Do you have the time, patience and love to help me build confidence? Following human guidance is new for me, and I know I can learn to be safe with a consistent and positive family. I may have a few leftover symbols of the past yet I am ready to bounce into my future. Will you be there with me?” Interested in adopting Baxter? Fill out the application first.
