About Atlas (PAF)
Take a look at this guy! Atlas the athlete! He loves swimming, mowing the neighbors yard by munching on their grass, and jumping by the front door when he needs to go potty. He is an active and fun guy who is working on learning to be a dog. Like many stray dogs, Atlas had to make his way alone. … Now that he is in foster care, Atlas is learning lots of regular doggie behavior and working hard on his basic commands – sit, down, come and more. Atlas came in with spotty toileting training but has not had an accident since he started spending night in his crate. Atlas plays with his toys, and is especially fond of his squeaky lamb chop and his volcano toy with squeaky dinosaurs. (Must be the squeaks!) Just this week he started playing tug of war! He enjoys playing with older kids. Younger kids not so much – they can make him a bit nervous. Atlas enjoys long walks and playing in the waves at the beach. He gets the zoomies when he knows he is about to get a walk! He is a happy boy, sweet, smart and playful. Atlas would do very well with an active individual or family who would be able to continue his basic training and show him he is the best dog in the world! Atlas is up to date on vaccines according to his age, has received proper deworming, and comes with additional dewormer. Atlas is microchipped, neutered, comes with 1-6 months of preventatives and one month free trial of pet insurance. All of our animals receive a health certificate that states a licensed veterinarian has seen the pet and has determined it is healthy for travel. It is not, however, a promise of perfect health. Our transports are USDA certified and transport cost is included in the adoption fee! Atlas is currently being fostered in Houston, TX but will be traveling to the PNW as soon as he finds his perfect home! Out-of-town pets are cared for by non-local organizations who can make arrangements for the pet to be transported to your area.
