Arrow

About Arrow

Hi, my name is Arrow! Here is what would work best for me in my new home: -Personality: Friendly, excitable, sweet, a little mischievous, people-oriented. -Can Live with Kids: Yes, kids ages 12+ (up to counselor’s discretion). -Can Live with Cats: Unknown history. I would likely be “very” interested in a cat and will chase and I will need a very slow, supervised introductory period to ensure everyone gets along. -Can Live with Dogs: Yes, another dog of similar size would be okay. No small or senior dogs, please. -Can do Apartment Living: No. -Potty Trained: Unknown. -Bite History: No. -Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes, between one and three private lessons, based on adopter experience. -Energy Level: Medium/High. -Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a neuter. -Additional Information: Arrow spent the first 6 months of his life in a small kennel with another dog, not receiving much in the way of care. He is little rough around the edges (i.e. mouthy, jumpy, doesn’t walk well on leash) and really needs to brush up on his manners! He is highly food motivated and absolutely loves people, which will go a long way in his training. Arrow may be a bit of a “project dog”, but he has a ton of potential to be a wonderful companion to the right person, so long as they are willing to dedicate a good chunk of time to his training. If you’d like to meet Arrow to see if he’s the dog for you, head up front and fill out an application.
